Ghanaian striker John Antwi registered a hat-trick as Misr El Maqasa beat ENPPI 4-3 on Sunday to become the highest foreign player in the history of the Egyptian Premier League.
He put the ball at the back of the net in the 33rd, 50th and 62nd minutes.
Antwi is now on 63 goals aiding him to surpass his compatriot Papa Arko on 61 goals as the foreigner with the highest number of goals in the Egyptian topflight league.

Yaw Antwi first started his career in Egypt through Ismaily in late 2012. He later moved to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Shabab FC, before returning to Egypt joining Cairo giants Al Ahly.
However, the forward’s spell with the Red Devils did not work well and he was loaned twice to Misr El Makkasa, then the club decided to activate their option to buy the player and made the deal permanent in July 2018.
