Coach Yusif Abubakar has passed out after battling with a short illness.
The former Hearts of Oak coach was admitted at the KNUST Hospital on Monday and was later discharged.
But he was rushed back on Tuesday after complaining of stomach and before he could be attended to by a doctor, he had already passed out
"Coach [Yusif Abubakar is no more, he passed on few hours ago at the KNUST Hospital." A source close to the family told Kickgh.com.
"Per the Islamic laws, he will be buried today and other arrangements will be communicated to the general public."
This is a big blow for Ghana football for losing another coach of high repute.

He was recently handed the Black Meteors coaching job to lead Ghana for their clash against Togo in the qualifiers for the Africa U-23 Nations Cup.
Coach Yusif Abubakar who is a devoted Muslim will be buried on Tuesday around 2:00om, according to Islamic tradition.
The 60-year-old coached clubs such as Heart of Lion, Hearts of Oak, Aduana Stars, etc.
He guided Aduana Stars to the Ghana Premier League triumph last season, but he was fired following a poor start to their Africa campaign.
