When Azumah Nelson arrived at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Thursday (July 21, 2018) relaxing at the back of his white limousine, he was greeted with cheers by people who had come to watch the bouts.
The vehicle was parked at the entrance of the Arena and it was seen by all patrons who came to watch the fights organised by the Azumah Nelson Boxing Promotion syndicate.
Earlier on the boxing legend told Daily Graphic that he purchased the limousine to inspire other sportsmen and spur on to higher heights.

A total of five bouts were witnessed.
The evening started with an International bout between WBA Super Featherweight Champion, Wahab Oluwaseun and his Togolese contender Mouibi Sarouna.
It then went on to a super middleweight contest between Emmanuel Danso A.K.A Kwahu Tyson and Stephen Abbey.

The next for the night was a National Lightweight Competition between Benjamin “Daddy Lumba” Lamptey and Sherrif Quaye(One time).
It was time for the penultimate bout between Michael Ansah (One Bullet) and Zongo Fire.
Azumah Nelson also honored at the event.
Some dignitaries present including the Ghana Boxing Authority President, Peter Zwennes, The Inspector General of Police, David Asante-Apeatu, British High Commissioner Ian Walker, Boxing Legend DK Poison helped present the various accolades bestowed on Azumah Nelson including a special title from the WBC with his named embossed on it and ultimately the cutting of the legends birthday cake.
