Minister reveals how Menzgold boss NAM 1 met Nana Addo

Pius Enam Hadzide, Deputy Minister of Information has revealed how Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold Ghana Limited CEO, <a id="839198ab-a17d-4ead-b55e-cb7f0c7ce251" href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/local/court-issues-bench-warrant-for-arrest-of-menzgold-directors/k9c5cgh">Nana Appiah Mensah</a> who has been declared wanted by the police met President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He has dismissed rumours that Nana Addo endorsed the activities of the Menzgold.

He added that Nana Appiah Mensah was part of a 10-member Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Confederation African Football (CAF) delegation that paid a courtesy call on Nana Addo at the Jubilee House.

A picture of Nana Addo in a handshake with Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM 1 which has gone viral on social media after an Accra Circuit Court issued a warrant for the immediate arrest of the Menzgold boss.

He said the picture was taken after that meeting between Nana Addo and CAF President Ahmad Ahmad.

He explained that assertions by political opponents and the general public that the picture convinced people to sign onto Menzgold Ghana Limited investments was unfortunate.

The warrant issued by the court required the police to locate and arrest immediately four persons; Nana Appiah Mensah, Rose Tetteh, Benedicta Appiah, and Abigail Mensah wherever they are. 

Rose Tetteh is his wife while Benedicta Appiah is his younger sister and Abigail Mensah also his younger sister
