President Nana Akufo-Addo on Thursday (March 16, 2017) inaugurated the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral Project.
He charged them to deliver a formal monumental cathedral for Ghana in record time.
The President told the group of Clergy men and women, to focus on three main areas.

These areas are: an agreement on the design of the project, supervision of the construction of the building and raising the funds for the Project.
The President urged the clergy to ensure that the project is completed on time.
Speaking on behalf of the board, its chairman Most Reverend Asante Antwi said he and his team are in a hurry just like the President disclosed in his State of the Nation address, to deliver the project for the people of Ghana.
He assured the President that he and his board will get to work immediately.

The board of trustees comprise the following; The Chairman, Most Reverend Asante Antwi, former Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana and his assistant, Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Charles Plamer Buckle. Prophet Kusi Boateng will be the member secretary to the board.
The rest of the members are, Apostle Opoku Onyinah, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Rev. Joyce Agree, Executive Director of the Salt and Light Ministry, Presbyterian Moderator, Cephas Amenyo, Rt. Rev. Offei Akrofi, Archbishop Nicholas Dancun Williams, General overseer of the Christian Action Faith Ministries, Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Fountain Gate Chapel, Bishop Dag Herward Mills, Presiding Bishop of the Lighthouse Chapel International, Pastor Mensa Otabil, Senior Pastor of International Central Gospel Church, Rev Dr. Frimpong Manso, leader of the Assemblies of God Church and former Moderator of the Presbyterian church, Prof. Emmanuel Martey.
