We will help improve small businesses in Ghana – EU

The European Union (EU) has promised to work at improving small businesses in Ghana to ease the burden on the government.

The European Union (EU) says it is committed to improving small businesses in Ghana to lessen the pressures on the government of Ghana.

Head of the EU delegation to Ghana William Hanna explains that his outfit will be working closely with the small businesses to ensure their effectiveness.

“We have focused on cooperation, agriculture, we have focused on governance, and focused on job creation”, he stated.

He adds that the EU has a number of projects and initiatives which started and are producing results.

“I think we will see more in these directions in the future of course, we can only provide some assistance”.

According o him, the union is enrolling different packages to assist these small scale businesses.

He said the Business Sector Advocacy Challenge (BUSAC) Fund and DANIDA will be working closely with the small scale businesses to ensure the objective of improving them is realised.
