The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has donated GHC 10,000.00 to Afrikids, a grass root non-governmental organization that cares for deprived, vulnerable, abandoned, orphaned and neglected children based in the Upper East Region.
Mr Gilbert Sebe-Yeboah, the Business Banking Manager at ADB in Bolgatanga, who presented the money commended the NGO for their commitment towards the deprived in society.

“It is unfortunate that people give birth and abandon them at the mercy of the harsh weather though we wish such incidents do not continue and as a bank we will continue to support your activities,” he said.
The Country Manager for Afrikids, Mr. Nicholas Kudjoe Kumah, expressed his gratitude to the Bank for their contribution towards putting smiles on the faces of the deprived, vulnerable, abandoned, orphaned and neglected children.
“As an organization seeking the welfare of these children who have been neglected by their parents, we are always grateful when big companies like adb appreciate and contribute to our course,” he said.
He indicated that the contribution would enable them put more smiles on the faces of the children especially during the yuletide.
