One Reddit user declared it ‘child abuse.’
ICYMI, we live in an era of non-traditional baby names. Some of them are legit cool, while the more out-there epithets typically elicit a few head scratches.
But some are saying that one couple has gone too far—like, to the point of child abuse.
The name that elicited such a claim is KVIIIlyn. For those of you who have forgotten those weird word teaser puzzles from elementary school, that’s K + roman numeral eight + lyn. Yep, Kaitlin with an VIII.
Earlier this year, a Reddit user found a magazine clipping about unique baby names and naturally took to the internet to voice his discontent, according to Redbook, captioning the post "surely this is a form of child abuse?"
We won't go so far as to call it child abuse (after all, that's a serious matter), but we can pretty much guarantee the spelling will guarantee KVIIIlyn a lifetime of headaches at the DMV.
