After more than 3 million votes, the 2015 Goodreads Choice Award winners are finally here.
The Goodreads Choice Awards is the only award where winners are chosen/rated entirely by readers themselves, readers of all shapes and sizes, backgrounds, genders, and ethnicities.
Hopefully what this means is that we get a more diverse group of winners than some awards determined by a judging committee.
Here some of the winners:
1. Fiction: Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee
2. Mystery & Thriller: The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
3. Historical Fiction: The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
4. Young Adult: All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
5. Memoir & Autobiography: A Work in Progress by Connor Franta
6. Poetry: The Dogs I Have Kissed by Trista Mateer
7. Humor: Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling
8. Nonfiction: Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari
9. Romance: Confess by Colleen Hoover
10. Fantasy: Trigger Warning: Short Fictions and Disturbances by Neil Gaiman
