Making your own curry powder is one of those things that is so much more rewarding than the actual effort required.
The basic curry powder is usually a mixture of turmeric, chili powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, ground ginger and pepper.

Use anywhere a recipe calls for curry powder. Feel free to halve the chili if you prefer a milder curry.
