A suspected <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/local/4-robberies-that-shook-ghana-in-2019/db01m40">robber</a> and rapist left journalists in a state of surprise when he confessed to the crimes he was arrested for, and then pleaded with the police to kill him because he didn’t want to cause more problems to the society.

<p>According to the Nigerian man identified as Adeniyi Ajayi, sending him to prison would be counterproductive because he would return a rather hardened criminal.</p>

<p>He explained that the social vices he had been engaging in before his arrest were taught him when he was once imprisoned.</p>

<p>In his wisdom, the Lagos State indigene urged the police to “waste” him arguing he would return to the same crime with more sophistication after coming out of prison.</p>
