Some disheartening photos circulating online show some women with babies strapped on their backs while attempting to cross a stream at Mognori, the Ghana-Burkina Faso border in Bawku, Upper East region.

The women, some of whom carry bicycles and other things on their heads could be seen risking their lives and those of their babies to go across the stream.

A social media user identified as Nicholas Seun Adatsi shared the photos online and they have since gone viral and triggered reactions.

“Maybe God is a woman. If you slide far enough to the 6th slide you might understand me.

I watched this woman in aww the whole time. And it was raining by the way. We were at Mognori (Ghana – Burkina Faso border in Bawku.) Instagram location says it’s doesn’t exist,” Adatsi captioned the photos.
