Lawyer hangs 8-month pregnant wife for refusing to abort baby because it’s a girl

Police in Faisal Town, Lahore, Pakistan have arrested a lawyer who allegedly hanged his wife who happened to be eight months pregnant, because the deceased <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/filla/is-it-your-cleavage-pastor-defends-wifes-raunchy-dressing-to-public-event/06kmxzy" id="acfae67f-18fb-4088-93d5-2ee30c52ecf8">refused to abort the pregnancy when they discovered it was a girl.</a>

Reports say the suspect, Mian Faisal Shahzad and the deceased identified only as Masmaat got married three years ago and have a son.

However, when Masmaat conceived again, it was later realised that the baby she was expecting was a girl, against the wish of her husband.

Mian Faisal Shahzad then advised his wife to abort the pregnancy, but she refused to do so, leading to incessant arguments in their home almost every day.

He reportedly returned home drunk one night and hanged the deceased to a ceiling fan until she gave up the ghost.

Police are said to have arrested Mian Faisal Shahzad taken the corpse of Masmaat to the Jinnah Hospital, for further investigation.
