It was a heart stopping moment at a train station in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh of India when a speeding train reportedly passed over a 1-year-old little girl who slipped from her mother’s arms and crawled onto the railway.

According to reports, the child’s parents had just disembarked from the train and could not reach for the little girl before another train passed over her.

However, bystanders were left in astonishment to realise that despite the train having run over the infant, she was unhurt because she miraculously landed in the gap between the floor and the track.

The girl was quickly picked up from the train track without a scratch on her body, aside the fact that she was crying out of fright.

A video of the bizarre scene was posted online by BBC and it is getting a lot of reactions.
