Dankay Records, management of gospel musician, Anita Afriyie has sued Scancom Ghana Limited, operators of MTN over copyright issues.

Speaking to Pulse.com.gh, Daniel Osei Kwabena (Dankay) said management upon knowing that their work was being used without their consent wrote to MTN but did not get a reply.

“MTN has been using my artiste’s ‘Adehye Mogya’ as call back tone and on MTNplay.com.gh without any permission. My lawyer wrote to them, their seemingly unconcerned posture made us take this action,” he said.

According to Dankay, MTN has been served the writ and is expected to respond in eight days.
