The event which took place at the lobby of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, February 21, saw performances from AK Sonsgtress, Okyeame Kwame, Keche, Vybrant Faya and other upcoming stars. DJ Page, DJ Kofi, DJ Nyce, DJ Andy Dosty also put up some performances on the night.
Though, DJ Black was absent on the night but he retained his crown as the overall Best DJ Of The Year for the third consecutive time. He also won the best male DJ of the year. Veteran DJ, Young Joe of Neat FM who was denied of his Lifetime Achievement Award last year finally had his promise fulfilled. Black Avenue Muzik’s DJ Breezy won the Discovery Of The Year. DJ Neptune from Nigeria won the Best International Non-Ghanaian DJ of the year award.
Ghanaian popular actor Ekow Smith Asante, Nana Kontihene, Daddy Bosco, Black Rasta, MzVee, Cartel Big J, David Oscar, Actor Vincent, TV personality Patrice Amegashie and other dignitaries were present to grace the event.
