Big WU heats-up the stage at DMV Party in the Park USA

The Ashaiman-born, finesse hypeman from 2012 has climbed over a hundred stages to keep the crowd lit and entertained. This year's lineup featured talented artists and performers, uniting Ghanaians and Afrobeat enthusiasts living in the USA for a day of celebration, music, and cultural pride. The event was a testament to the rich cultural heritage and vibrant music scene of Ghana.

Attendees of the DMV Ghana Party in the Park were treated to performances by top Afrobeat artists from Ghana and Ghanaians based in the States. "I was honoured to be a part of this incredible event," Big WU remarked.

"The energy there was crazy, ‘3Y3 REAL’. I am back in the state and available to host more shows this summer to December." Throughout the day, Big WU kept the momentum going, introducing acts with his signature style and ensuring that the audience remained engaged and enthusiastic.

He was the host at the Blackstar Line Festival by Chance the Rapper & Vic Mensa, Something in the Water by Pharrell Williams, SOBS in New York City, Black Sherif Live Atlanta in the USA, he performed with Ghanaian singer Gyakie on the main stage & also performed alongside South African Duo’s Major League DJz Amapiano stage of Afro Nation Miami.

Big WU has been featured on some big events on the continent like One Africa Music Festival Dubai, Kendrick Lamar Listening Party, Afrochella, Cardi B Live in Ghana, Wizkid Live in Ghana, Afronation Ghana Party, Promiseland by King Promise, Live with Gyakie, Casablanca Day Party and Club/Shows Tour in Lagos, Nigeria.

Big WU is also credited with making shows like Casablanca's Ultimate Party Experience, Headie One & Friends, Casa Tantra with DJ Tunez, Tiki & Afro, Polo Beach Afrobeats & Shayooo, Little Havana, Stonebwoy Bhim Concert, Free the Youth Parties, Tidal Rave Festival, Afro Future with R2BEES, Detty Rave with SmallGod, Out of This World with Big Wu, and Access Bank's End-of-Year Concert, a memorable experience.

The MC/Hypeman was nominated for his numerous works and impact made in the music industry and also on society as the best MC/Hypeman at the 2023 Ghana Entertainment Awards, USA. He also became the TV host of Muse Africa's countdown on Kwese TV in 2019 #Musetops, the all-new magazine and chart show for videos from around Ghana.

He also hosted a radio show on Ghana’s most significant urban station, YFM, called Accra Country Top 10 countdown and spotlight show powered by Crux Global.
