The Ghanaian entertainment industry has lost one of its biggest critics, Bertrand Nana Turkson aka Nana Turkson.

Nana Turkson kicked the bucket on Tuesday, August 7, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a short illness.

According to reports, he died of diabetes but Pulse.com.gh cannot substantiate these claims.

While many showbiz lovers on social media are mourning Turkson, some are wondering who he really was and his contributions to Ghana show business.

Nana Turkson is an entertainment enthusiast, who has worked in the Ghanaian entertainment industry for several years. He was a showbiz critic on multiple radio and TV stations.

He was an author

Nana Turkson authored the book "Success Journal". His vast knowledge and experience in various subjects and disciplines from current affairs to entertainment, making him a valuable resource person to most radio and TV platform he appears on weekly.

He was an educationist and entrepreneur

He was an educationist, the Principal of the Institute of Advance Communication, located in Accra and an entrepreneur with over a decade of working experience.

Talent manager

He has a background in talent management. Recently, he was with Deluge Entertainment/SynergyMuzik – the record label responsible for Afrobeats and Reggae star, Knii Lante.

He was an actor

Nana Turkson has an acting background as well. He has appeared on several television series and movies including “Home Sweet Home”, “Oesophagus Kingdom”, “Sinking Sands” and “Blackmail”.
