Meryl Streep is still the hard rocking singer in new trailer for upcoming comedy drama 'Ricki and the Flash.'

It's a new trailer from Sony’s TriStar Pictures for the upcoming comedy-drama 'Ricki and The Flash.'

Directed by Jonathan Demme, and written by Diablo Cody, 'Ricki and the Flash' stars three time Oscar winner Meryl Streep as a hard-rocking singer.

Ricki and The Flash' also stars her real-life daughter, Mamie Gummer. Others in the movie include Rick Springfield, Kevin Kline, and Audra McDonald.

'Ricki and The Flash' hits theatres August 7.
