Ghanaian international child actor <strong>Abraham Attah</strong> has landed his first major movie in the year 2019.

The “Beasts of No Nation” star actor has been listed for a Nigerian drama film on immigrants, titled “Tasmanian Devil”.

According to Deadline, the Spirit Award-winner, whose recently appeared in Sony’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” movie, will star in “Tasmanian Devil”, a feature debut from writer/director Solomon Onita, Jr. Adepero Oduye (Central Park Five and Pariah), Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The Chi, Queen of Katwe), and Kwesi Boakye (Claws, Flight) will also co-star in the coming of age tale, which will shoot sometime this year in Dallas, Texas.

The timely story follows a 19-year-old Nigerian immigrant (Attah) who, after moving to the US, struggles to bond with his estranged father (Mwine) who abandoned him and his mother (Oduye), in Nigeria, to chase his own calling of becoming a missionary.

When he finds acceptance in his process of joining a college fraternity, its challenged by his strict and religious father, leaving him searching for his own moral ground.

Tricia Woodgett of TigerEye Films is producing the project, while Benny Boom (All Eyez On Me) and Gerald Rawles (Next Day Air) will serve as executive producers.
