Yvonne Okoro joins celebrities with interest of becoming politicians?

Some showbiz personalities have been gravitating towards active politics to play a central role in the Governance of the country to influence who gets what, when and how.

Actor John Dumelo is one of such celebrities who has made known his intentions to be a politician, with reports that he would be contesting for a parliamentary seat in the 2020 elections on the tickets of the NDC.

Yvonne Nelson, who led her much talked about "Dumsor Must Stop" campaign, recently also expressed that she wants to serve her country. Yvonne who revealed she is pursuing Masters in Diplomacy and International Relations at GIMPA added that she’ll prefer to be an ambassador.

Latest, to have likely joined this political call is actress Yvonne Okoro as she made her subtle announcement over the weekend with a caption she added to a photo of herself with John Dumelo and Yvonne Nelson.

Posting the shot which was taken at the christening of John Dumelo’s son, she wrote “Minister of Foreign Affairs x Mr.President x Minister of Tolerance (who has zero tolerance)”. If we read between the lines, we can say Miss Okoro who is also pursuing the study of Law to become a Lawyer, is is very likely eyeing a Ministerial position in the near future with this subtle announcement.
