The Ghanaian singer has relocated to her village, a place called Funsi in the Upper West Region of north Ghana. According to the “Village Sex” singer, it is a deliberate move to put her village on the map by sharing the gift God has given her.
The lioness of Africa, who has toured the world and won awards, is now building a cultural theatre in Funsi and training the village’s next generation to sing and dance. In an interview with Joy News in her hometown, she said “I’ve promised and prayed that God if you ever make me a superstar I promise I’ll also give back to whomever I can give back to”.

She continued that “so I am back home to share my talent, share the gift God has given me, I believe my talent is a gift and if I don’t share it in a positive way, I believe God will take it from me”. The 3 minutes interview also featured some kids who have been learning to be singers and dancers at Wiyaala’s center.
