Akox has been nominated for the "Best Afrobeatz Act" and "Best Male Vocalist Of The Year" at the Afro Australian Music & Movie Awards (AAMMA) for 2016 after dropping a new song "Hater" (Shame).

Akox will also be Stonebwoy’s supporting act for this Australian Live tour in Sydney on August 20th.
