Ever since the 2020 Grammy nominees were announced and Beyonce’s “Lion King: The Gift” album secured a nomination, Twitter went frenzy following reports that Shatta Wale who featured on the album, will be a recognized Grammy winner, should the album win its category.
3FM’s Mz Gee with Ghanaian blogger, Ameyaw Debrah, during an interview, phoned Fuse ODG, who was in the same position in 2018 when Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” album which he featured on, won the Best Pop Album that year, to comment on the brouhaha and it ended up the singer shaming them.

During the conversation, the “Million Pounds Girl” singer said that he is credited as a Grammy winner and in reaction, Ameyaw Debrah asked him if he has any plague to that claim but the question rather left upset and he didn’t hesitate to show his anger during the live interview.
Fuse emphasized that he doesn’t want to be part of a conversation which at the long run seems to be a move to discredit Shatta Wale from affiliating himself to the nomination. According to the singer, Ghanaians should rather speak positively about things like this and rather not try to find reasons to fault it.
