Ghanaian dancehall artiste,
In an interview with Foster Romanus on e.TV Ghana The Late Nite Celebrity Show, a concerned fan texted in about another musician using Epixode’s slogan ‘Pruuuuuuu’ in his songs.
Reacting to this, the 'Jehovah' hitmaker told the host that he was aware of it and has taken measures by approaching the record label to advice their artiste in this regard.
“I have heard it, one particular artiste and people call me and they ask me, oh! Are you on this song, and I go like ‘no’. I don’t want to mention the artist’s name, but he is from Black Avenue Musik. This is somebody who I believe knows me, and he knows that I made slogan popular,” he said.

He then threw a warning to the artiste whose name he refused to mention to desist from using his slogan and then to the record label for not adhering to his amicable request.
He said, “Straight warning to you, straight warning, whoever you are, wey you dey use my slogan. I’ve reached out to them that, like brothers, because I don’t want it to look like it’s only dancehall artistes who always want to bring beef. I’ve been quiet about it, but if the fans have even seen it then you should know that it’s serious,” he continued.
“They for no make the dragon wake up, that be the only thing I go talk,” he added.
Epixode is also a Painter and a Graphic artist. He has hit songs like ‘Jehovah’, ‘Kutu’, ‘Dear Mama’ which features his mother who is also a musician among others.
