Edem has since gone on to release two more albums, with his songs gaining massive airplay in the country and beyond.

The “Koene” hit maker has also performed on some of the biggest stages in Ghana, as well as being nominated for the Ghana Music Awards.

However, in a rather shock revelation the rapper has disclosed that he used to take less than GHc 200 during his formative years as a musician.

According to him, he was paid a paltry GHc 150 when he performed for the very first time on stage.

Interacting with some of his fans in a Twitter Q&A session, Edem opened up on a number of issues concerning his life in music.
