The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has come out to explain why Daniel Amartey and the Ayew brothers might not be available for the Black Stars double header in the USA.

The Black Stars resumed training at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra on Monday, following their 5-0 thrashing of Ethiopia last two weeks.

However, five players absented themselves from training namely Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Jonathan Mensah, Harrison Afful and Afriyie Acquah.

GFA has explained why the players named above were not present for the Black Stars first day at training ahead of the Black Stars clashes against Mexico and USA on June, 28 and July 1, respectiively.
