Over the past months, the company has invested lots of money and resources into literally "changing lives" as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The work done by Twellium Company is enough to warm the heart of any sympathetic Ghanaians and the latest to find happiness in the brand is the King of the Ashantis, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
This was at the launch of the company's Verna Changing Lives initiative in in Kumasi at the Golden Bean Hotel.
According to the speech, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, was pleased with the tremendous impact of the project and believed Verna Changing Lives is a good initiative and he will support it in any way he can and everyone should support this good course as well.
The industry has a foundation which was established in October 2016 and was officially launched in January 2017.
The foundation, which is not even a year old, has taken up the social responsibility mandate which is the vision of the foundation to be a leader in social impact projects that directly touches the lives of the disadvantaged ; hence the mission of Verna Changing Lives.
The guest present at the event could not hold back tears as they listened to the harrowing conditions some beneficiaries of the initiative lived in before meeting the Changing Lives team.
Also present at the event were, Dr. Akpalu the Chief Executive Officer of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Nana Adu Mensah Amakomhene, the Inspector General of Police in the region, Mr. David Asante-Appeatu and a representative of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science.
These dignitaries and other guests threw their support behind the initiative and pledged to help in whatsoever way they can.
