Afriyie Acquah has rubbished reports making rounds that he is set to complete a move to Newcastle United.

Afriyie Acquah who had earlier expressed his desire to play in the English Premier League in the future feels he is being misquoted by the public, stating categorically clear that he is still committed to his Italian Serie A outfit, Torino.

The Ghana international's Twitter handle posted: ''Reports that I claimed a '90% done deal' to @NUFC completely FALSE. 100% committed to @TorinoFC_1906.''

Acquah scored two goals in twenty appearances for Torino in the Italian Serie A
