Majeed Waris in London to seal West Ham deal

The Ghanaian striker is close to sealing a dream move to the English Premier League

West Ham are in talks to sign Abdul Majeed Waris from French club Lorient, according to Sky sources.

Sky believes the player is currently in London for talks with the Premier League club.

The 25-year-old Ghana international has been at Lorient for the past two years and is viewed as being a likely replacement for Diafra Sakho, who passed a medical at Rennes on Wednesday.

Majeed Waris has been linked with a move to several clubs in the English Premier League and it is understood that Lorient had earlier rejected an 8 million pound offer from Burnly for the signature.
