Yahaya Mohammed and Samuel Affuls contracts have been terminated after failing to impress in the Tanzanian toplight league with Azam FC, according to reports.

The former Aduana Stars marksman scored 15 goals in the Ghana Premier League but missed out on the top scorers' award to Latif Blessing who scored 17, before the former sealed a mouth watering deal to join Azam FC on a three-year contract

And his compatriot, Samuel Afful also moved to the side from Sekondi Hasaacas, after the 'Giants of the West' suffered relegation last season.

It appears Azam have turned their attention to strengthening their academy to groom more young talents who would graduate to the senior team, hence the need to balance their books.

Azam finished 3rd on the league log of the Tanzanian Topflight league for the 2016-17 season.
