GFA member fires back at Nii Lantey Vanderpuye

Oduro Sarfo has stated that the sports minister designate can’t match anybody at the GFA when it comes to football administration.

Football administrator and former General Manager for Berekum Chelsea Francis Oduro Sarfo has hit back at Nii Lantey Vanderpuye that his understanding of football is archaic.

The Sports Minister designate, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has sworn to correct wrong practices in the running of the Ghana Football Association when he official assumes power, because he has a broader knowledge of football than some of the people at the GFA.

However, Oduro believes the sports minister designate is not abreast with the new trends of running football, hence he should come to the GFA and learn before making any comparison.

“Nii Lantey Vanderpuye was a commentator and the time he was with Liberty Professionals things were not like now. Where did he follow clubs to?

“He can’t sit behind a computer and fill Transfer Matching System, so if he wants to compare himself to us, then he should come and learn the new ways of football administration.

“I think that his knowledge of current trend of managing football is way below anybody at the GFA,” he told Happy FM.

Oduro Sarfo has declared his intention to contest for the upcoming GHALCA chairmanship position
