Abubakar Saddiq was part of the angry Akufo-Addo loyalists who locked up the Asawasi Constituency office, Thursday in protest over comments made by the Chairman of the Constituency, Kumasi-based Luv FM has reported.

The incident happened on Friday after the deceased had gone to the constituency office on hearing the office had been ransacked but was attacked and murdered by unknown assailants.

The deceased and several other supporters had earlier threatened to beat up the Constituency chair for supporting suspended National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

It is however unclear as to whether the incident has any connection with the ongoing internal wrangling in the New Patriotic Party.
