According to Mr. Woyome, the alleged order on which the state was relying on to do the valuation has elapsed and hence illegal to go ahead.
In response to the argument, the state represented by deputy Attorney General Godfred Dame opposed the motion explaining their action was based on a new order they obtained on the 6th January 2016 and not the old one being referred to by the businessman.
Government in September began a valuation of Woyome’s properties in a quest to retrieve the GH¢51 million wrongfully paid to him.
The valuation saw some security personnel and officials from the Ghana Valuation Board, storming the Trasacco residence of Mr. Woyome to conduct the valuation to use as concrete evidence on his ability to pay the debt for his trial.
According to reports, Woyome is said to have objected to the team entering his house, hence asked them to produce relevant documents from the court.
Mr Woyome doubted their legitimacy as the Court is on legal vacation hence there could be no way they had acquired one.
