A former President of Ghana John Agyekum Kufuor has denied the claims that people from his alleged ‘camp’ hired some media personalities to write scandalous things about then-presidential aspirant, Nana Akufo-Addo, during the 2008 primaries.
In a statement signed by the spokesperson of the former president, Frank Agyekum said the association of the name of Kufuor to such a story must be condemned.

He further explained that former president Kufuor has no faction in the party during his tenure as president of Ghana.

His reactions follow an accusation by the Alfred Kwame Larbi aka DJ Oxygen that members from then-president Kufuor’s camp hired him to write slanderous articles against Nana Addo.
Former-president Kufuor challenged Larbi to mention the name of the person from his said camp who approached him for such publications.
