David Accam has been selected to the Team of the Season in the Major Soccer League that will be playing the reigning European champions, Real Madrid during the European pre-season.

The Ghana striker has recorded six goals for his Chicago Fire in the ongoing MLS season and he also emerged as the club's top scorer last season.

He was voted into the team by fans of the MLS and the 26-year-old was the only Ghanaian named in the team.

David Accam despite being on form was dropped by James Kwesi Appiah when he named his provisional 30-man squad for Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Ethiopia on 13th June.
