Bernard Tekpetey has joined Austrian side Altach on a season long loan move from Schalke 04.

The youngster in his quest to ply his trade abroad joined the Bundesliga giants in 2016 from a lower division side in Ghana.

Tekpetey featured in few games, but he managed to impress former Ghana coach Avram Grant and he handed him a call-up into his final 23-man squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Bernard Tekpetey before sealing his deal with Altach had put pen to paper to sign extend his contract with Schalke 04.
