Prosper Nartey, who took over from coach J.E Sarpong, has lost only game in charge of the Crabs.

Dwarfs are still battling relegation, lying 14th position in the 16-club league.

They were edged by a goal to nil on match day 19 when they travelled to Berekum to take on Chelsea.

However, Dwarfs will be comforted by the fact that they won 2-0 against Sekondi Hasaacas in their last home league game on match day 18.

Tension is mounting on Michael Osei, as his side have failed to churn out a victory in their past two league games; drew against both Inter Allies and Bechem United.

Asante Kotoko’s last away league game was a one all draw against Inter Allies at Tema.

The Porcupine Warriors missed out on an opportunity to occupy the summit of the league table in the weekend, after the league leaders Wa All Stars fell at Sogakope against WAFA. Kotoko drew blank against Bechem United for Hearts Oak to capitalise on that to go top of the league ladder, following their famous 1-0 victory against Hasaacas.

Kotoko have secured three wins on the road, while they have lost four and drawn 2 in 9 games. They have not won in their past three away league games, having won 1 and drawn 2.

In the first round Kotoko lashed Dwarfs 3-0 in a game that Dauda Mohammed bagged two goals.

These sides have faced each other in a total of 69 league ties. Kotoko have won 41, lost 12 and drawn 16 against Dwarfs.

Ironically, Dwarfs worst league defeat was against Kotoko, whereas Kotoko’s worst league loss happened against Dwarfs. Kotoko walloped Dwarfs 12-1, where Dwarfs also thrashed Kotoko 5-0 in 1961 and 1969, respectively.
