Beware of 'fraudsters' using NDC to perpetuate crime - Party warns

A statement signed by General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said “the modus operandi of these fraudsters is to use the names of members of the executive committee of the party and other varied means including social media to dupe members of the public of their monies and other valuables.”

The NDC has warned the general public against what they call acts of fraud being perpetuated by some unscrupulous people using the names of senior members of the party.

The party has therefore urged the general public to alert the police of any such development as and when they occur.

“The NDC wishes to distance itself from all such dastardly acts and advises the public to immediately report to the police, any such conduct, act or persons purporting to be acting on behalf of any such senior member of the party with the view to making personal gains by way of money, favour or otherwise,” the statement added.
