Man in trouble after he drove motorbike through Tamale metropolis naked to claim GH¢50 'jackpot'

The terms of the whole challenge were that, the man would ride the bike to the most populated area within the Metropolis, buy food and return to claim the stated amount.

The Tamale Dakpema, Naa Alhassan Dawuni has ordered parents of a young man who rode a motorbike through the principal streets of the northern regional capital in order to claim a GH¢50,

According to mynewsgh, the unnamed man believed to be in his 30s, took off his clothes and jumped onto a motorbike naked after his colleagues dared him to do so in order to be given the said amount.

Residents who were surprised to see the man do the unimaginable thing for money were shouting and wondering at the same time why anyone in his right senses would do such a thing.

Though he was able to do attain his side of the bargain and claimed the ‘jackpot’, his conduct has triggered the wrath of traditional leaders who would not tolerate any excuse for the act.

Reports suggest that the Tamale chief has summoned parents of the man and their excuse was that their son had been possessed and mentally unstable. They said prior to the incident, they had been seeking treatment around Mankango in the East Gonja District.

However, Naa Alhassan Dawuni is reported to have rejected the excuse.
