Ghana Immigration Service pays ghost workers GHC60K - audit report

The report said eight(8) persons on the Service's payroll were unknown to the management of the department.

The Ghana Immigration Service has been indicted in the 2015 auditor generals report of paying cash to undeserving officers.

Sums of money to the tune of GHCC60,070.67. were paid to the 'ghost' workers in Wa.

They are; Atipaga Abdalla, GHC5,899.13, Afari Lawrence A., GHC10,609.09, Ennin Felix, GHC7,270.97, Koduah Edmond Tweneboah, GHC1,404.83 and Doku Sampson Tetteh, GHC10,456.93. The rests are; Adam Iddrisu, GHC11,459.97, Adafia Jude, GHC11,736.69 and Kpodo Daniel Kwabla, GHC1,233.06. They were all ranked AICOI.
