The 2017-18 German topflight league was launched on Friday by Africas leading digital television operator, StarTimes at the A & C Mall, Accra.
Addressing the launch in Accra, the Director of StarTimes Ghana, Mr Ernest Quaye-Arday said most Ghanaians have over the years shared a strong bond with the German top flight league because of the high level of football exhibited by the players.
The Chief Operating Officer of StarTimes, Mr Felix Ahonzo disclosed that in addition to the Bundesliga games, his outfit would broadcast over 306 matches from over 10 different leagues the course of the European football season.
Other personalities who graced the occasion were the Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Maurice Quansah and General Secretary of SWAG, William Ezah
The launching was preceded by the opening game of the Bundesliga between Bayern Munich and Bayer 04 Leverkusen which the former won 3-1 at the Alianz Arena.
There was predict and win section where fans were given the opportunity to predict the score line before the game kicked off and people who got it right laughed home with handsome prices
