AkiOla death story: Professor Amponsah dead, Peter Asiedu still alive

The author of the popular Ghanaian textbook series for Senior High School (SHS) subject, Peter Asiedu is not dead.

In an interview with Pulse.com.gh, Mr Asiedu who goes by the popular brand name AkiOla disclosed that his former partner, Professor Samuel Kwame Amponsah is the man who passed away.

“I am still alive. I have been receiving calls since morning but I would like to state that by the grace of God, I am alive,” Peter Asiedu told Pulse Ghana.

“My brother and former partner, Professor Samuel Kwame Amponsah is the one who has sadly passed away. My condolence to the family.”

Peter Asiedu started the AkiOla project with Professor Samuel Kwame Amponsah with the deceased leaving the team two years later.

When the news of Professor Amponsah’s demise broke, Ghanaians took to their social media to say goodbye to Peter Asiedu instead.

He has lectured a lot of students who are shocked by the news.

His students describe as a great and humorous teacher who made them love Mathematics.
