The female graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who set a new record at the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of the College of Health Science (CHS) says she has no boyfriend.

Dr Fathia Ayodele Kareem told Kumasi-based Ultimate FM that she did not meet any man during her 6-year study at the Medical School she desired to be with.

She said she, therefore, channelled her time and energy into other activities related to her academic work.

“I have no boyfriend and I am not dating. I actually wanted to date in the medical school but did not meet anyone at the medical school suitable to be my boyfriend even though I committed my time to other things like sacrificing time to study, practice and other things.”

She said she looked forward to dating a God fearing, wise man and someone who inspires her to be better.

24-year-old Charles Djugbah, in 2015 set a new record by winning 8 awards at the end of his seven-year course at the university.

Even though his 8 awards broke the then 40-year record, Charles’ record stood for just a year with Fathia setting a new height for future students to beat.
