Jobs in computer occupations to increase by 2020

Employment in all computer-related occupations is expected to increase by 22% by 2020.

This is according to a research by the U.S.Bureau of Labour Statistics (BLS). The report stated that “some IT fields will fare better than others.”

According to the research software developers “will be the strongest in this period, with increases ranging from 28% to 32%, depending on the type of software development.”

Other IT related jobs that are expected to increase are database administrators by 31%, IT managers by 18%, computer programmers by 12%, computer support by 18%, computer system analysts is to rise by 22%, amongst others.
