The UNSA-UG in a press statement said it was "unsettled" by the agitated press the University of Ghana has received in recent days, adding that it has engaged the two parties to reconcile their differences.
The statement, signed by Derrick Schandorf Ayirebi -Acquah, UNSA-UG President, and Kofi Adofo Wadle, Head of Cultural and Social Issues, said the move was necessary to calm tensions brewing between some residents of the halls of the two individuals.
The statement also urged the UG students to refrain from spreading and sharing malicious and unsubstantiated information that has the tendency to soil the image of the university.
