The 27-year-old Spaniard beat off competition from Antonio Valencia and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to take home the Sir Matt Busbuy Player of the Year trophy in a competition voted for by fans.
The midfielder has made 49 appearances this season, impressing the Old Trafford with his box-to-box playmaking while scoring two goals.

'It is very special for me to win this award because when you see the list of the winners you realise how important it is... and because I stop the record of David [de Gea] and because the trophy stays in Spain as well," Herrera said in his speech.
Valencia, 31, took home the Players' Player of the Year award as consolation. The Ecuadorian has been immense in a utility role for the reds this season.
Armenian attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan took home the goal of the season award for a goal he scored against Sunderland.
Angel Gomes was named the Jimmy Murphy Youth Team Player of the Year.
Axel Tuanzebe was named Reserve Team Player of the Year.
