The Ministry of Finance has hinted in the past that it expects the required legal regulations and documents on disbursement modalities for the waste management fund to be completed before close of 2016.

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Kumasi Waste Management, Plastic Waste Management Association, Zoomlion, Environmental Services Providers Association, among others are expected to be beneficiaries of the fund.
