The Electoral Commission (EC) has stated that the Commission still remains credible despite an Accra High Court ruling that it erred by disqualifying the Presidential nominee of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP).

In an interview with Accra-based Class, FM Dzakpasu said the credibility of the EC does not even come into question in this instance.

Moments after the ruling by an Accra High Court asking the EC to allow Dr Nduom correct the anomalies in his form, some people argued that this ruling has put the credibility in doubt.
Considering that the general election is a few weeks away, this has raised doubts over other happenings before and during the elections.
But Dzakpasu believes this ruling has rather made the EC more credible.
