John Jinapor to contest Yapei-Kusawgu NDC primaries

The NDC has set November 7, 2015 for both the presidential and parliamentary primaries.
 
 

A deputy minister of Energy John Jinapor is set to contest in the Yapei-Kusawgu constituency primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Northern Region.

Jinapor, who was the a presidential spokesperson will face a stiff competition from one Gameli Kewuribe Hoedoafia who works with the Local Government Institute.

The seat occupied by Alhaji Amadu Seidu has declared that he will not contest for the seat again.

Meanwhile, filing of nomination forms for the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries will open on August 27 through to September 10, 2015.

Women and disabled persons who wish to contest the parliamentary primaries are to pay 50 percent of the fixed filling fee of 10, 000 cedis.

The party has also set November 7, 2015 for both the presidential and parliamentary primaries.
